Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in field service operations. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems, with a focus on air conditioning and heating equipment. The Service Technician will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure optimal performance of our services.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on air conditioning and heating systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
Conduct field service calls to diagnose and resolve customer concerns.
Build and install components as needed for system upgrades or replacements.
Operate welding equipment for repairs and modifications.
Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in various environments.
Drive company van to service locations, ensuring timely arrival and professional representation.

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a related field.
Familiarity with air conditioning systems, including installation and repair.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
Experience in field service roles is preferred.
Skills in welding or fabrication are advantageous.
Previous experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role is desirable.
A valid driver's license is required for driving the company van.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
