Shermco U.S. is seeking for a Department Administrator
Department Administrator
Responsible for purchasing raw materials, products and supplies, billing, providing strategies and solutions to improve procurement processes and better manage costs while maintaining a positive relationship with vendors.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

Setup new vendors and contractors in business central database and ability to navigate through sales force
-
Open new work orders for department
-
Responsible for package shipping and receiving for the department
-
Process and complete Capital Expenditure (CapEx) orders (excluding fleet)
-
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the lowest price possible without compromising quality
-
Setup utilities for new office locations (water, electric, gas, waste management, etc.)
-
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other discrepancies
-
Manage and order all company apparel including FR/AR and hard hats
-
Support Accounting by monitoring PO’s and notifying purchasers of concerns/changes
-
Organize weekly WIP meetings and process occasional time approval for department employees
-
Assist with onboarding all department new hires
-
Routinely monitor purchase orders and Vendor Card data to ensure procedures are being followed

Create PO’s and order office, building and janitorial supplies
-
Administer the online accounts for Grainger, Staples and Amazon
-
Collaborate with EHS on new hire safety equipment and apparel standards
-
Create PO’s for corporate travel agency invoices for Accounts Receivables
Minimum Qualifications: to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:

High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree or some college a plus

Minimum of two years in supply chain, with knowledge of logistics
-
Professional in appearance, communication and attitude both internally and with the public
-
Strong math, organization skills and detail oriented; excellent time management skills
-
At least one year of experience working in a corporate administrative support role
-
Able to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
-
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone personality skills
-
Highly proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Internet search and purchasing skills
-
Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
-
Must be honest, assertive and systematic
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
