Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
- Operates equipment to effectively complete all jobs assigned within designated time limits.
- Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions when clarification is needed.
- Maintain cleans and safe work areas (sweep debris; gather and discard trash, remove snow and ice).
- Understand OHSA/MSHA guidelines and procedures, as well as lock out / tag out procedures.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to immediate supervisor and safety.
Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating, underground utility digging experience preferred.
- Prefer 1 year of construction experience.
- Hardworking
- Dependable
- Must be able to show proof of age over 18 as well as prove identity and right to work in the US.
- Must be able to successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be able to lift, carry and transfer 50 pounds or more continuously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $31.00 per hour
