Duties and Responsibilities
Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environmental, Health and Safety training.
Lead a team of HVAC technicians to ensure efficient and timely completion of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Schedules projects and provides technical support for HVAC Technicians.
Evaluates workload and schedule service work in a way that best utilizes manpower.
Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and distributed for jobs.
Schedule repairs for parts to ensure minimal downtime in job completion.
Performs and monitors preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation.
Utilizes strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete assignments.
Oversees the company’s buildings, facilities, and equipment and performs HVAC operations. Operations include but are not limited to, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, compressors, and other mechanical equipment as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC field.
Completion of a technician program or approved acceptable equivalent training.
Possess a strong work ethic and can work independently and in a team environment.
Performance driven.
Safety conscious. Make safety a top priority for yourself and your co-workers.
Honest. Must value doing things right and being respectful in all communication with others.
Working Conditions
Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins.
Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, to sit, stand and walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and occasionally life and/or move up to 100 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to moderately loud.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include correctable vision to complete work safely.
