Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high voltage systems and a strong understanding of electrical maintenance within an industrial setting. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment. The Industrial Electrician will work closely with other technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical components while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- 70% of the day is putting out fires. Getting calls that are either slowing down production or stopping it completely. The presses are down for 4 hours between shifts and that is the only time that they will be PM'd. so preventative maintenance and work orders is about only 30% of the day.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role.
- Being able to undestand how a hydraulic pump works and how to repair or replace one.
- Basic understanding of conveyor belts, rollers, and mechanical components.
- Must be able to use a 480v multi-meter to determine if a machine is live or not.
