Currently looking for experienced HVAC installation, service and maintenance individuals with a minimum of 3 years HVAC experience to join our team and save the day for our clients. Become immersed in the technology sector and data center industry. You will have the ability to expand your skills beyond the world of HVAC/R including backup power, generators, electrical systems, general construction, raised access flooring, fire protection, and many others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventive Maintenance, Emergency Services, Repairs, and Installation on
- Data Center Specialized Cooling- Air-Cooled, Water-Cooled, Chilled Water Equipment
- Air-Cooled Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers that supply cooling to mission critical areas
- Commercial Equipment by Trane, Carrier, York, Rheem/Ruud etc.
- Perform equipment installation of specialized cooling units.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, change out compressors, failed parts, etc. on all A/C equipment.
- Perform scheduled on-call & overtime duties.
- Work in a safe manner by following industry standard safety practices, including knowledge of MSDS, tool safety, equipment safety and ladder safety guidelines.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills.
- Ability to use power and hand tools.
- Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC system.
- Ability to read equipment manuals, and schematics for HVAC systems.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customers.
- Knowledge and ability to proficiently solder, braze refrigerant lines, water lines, etc
- Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation, reporting and commentary, which accurately reflect field conditions.
- Capable of being self-managed, independent, and have positive attitude.
- Strong aptitude to learn new technologies and system controls.
Requirements:
- 3 years of HVAC service experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification.
- Can successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Physically able to work on HVAC units and able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
