Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our dynamic Electrical Testing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the successful execution of projects, ensuring that engineering principles are applied effectively in the field and on reports. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The Field Engineer will be involved in a range of activities from testing electrical equipment in the field, creating and correction of test reports and bidding on upcoming projects. Sites included are Industrial and Electrical Generation Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with managers and engineers to develop schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and project plans.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to monitor progress and compliance with standards.
- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office and Equipment Report Software.
- Assist in the development of reports and quotes for various projects.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication.
- Support engineering tasks by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading single and three- line diagrams is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Electrical Testing principles and practices.
- Experience in project scheduling and technical writing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of NERC PRC testing and reporting is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
