Overview
The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a student intern to support our Human Resources team at the main office in Skippack, PA. The internship will last for 12-14 weeks from May to August or September 2025. The ideal candidate is hard working, quick to pick up new skills and apply new information, and enthusiastic about human resources. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and/or business partners, applying what you’ve learned in class to various activities.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs all work according to OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policies
- Provide administrative support to the HR department
- Welcome and engage with employees from all divisions seeking out HR assistance
- Assist with various HR projects and information requests
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program in a related field from an accredited educational institution
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
- Able to work during the upcoming summer of 2025
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
- Two years or 60+ credits towards the Bachelor’s degree
- Previous internship or work experience in the construction or construction materials business
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, or other specialized human resources software
