Job Title: HR Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator aids and facilitates processes and procedures to effectively maintain the operation of the HR function. This role provides administrative support to HR functions including personnel file creation, transaction filing and record keeping, HRIS administration and data entry, answering general benefits questions and customer services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as a point of contact for associate questions (benefits, 401k, personal changes, etc.).
- Processes all hire, transfers, changes and terminations accurately into HRIS in a timely manner
- Benefits and open enrollment, working in BSwift systems and exporting data Provide education and information to help employees make election decisions. Record elections to feed to Benefit providers. Ensure accuracy of information. Addressing Domestic Partner situations. Ensuring withholdings are correctly stated
- Creates and maintains all associate files; personnel and benefits
- Assists with FMLA Administration
- Generates weekly and monthly reports. Identifies and reconciles discrepancies
- Assists recruiting with scheduling and screening during peak season and as needed
- Supports other HR initiatives and projects as needed
- Assists with creating offer letters, new hire packets and background checks
- Assists with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Outstanding organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with the utmost professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal and strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent time management and work ethic
- The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dead-driven environment
- The ability to understand clients, managers’ expectations and partner with HR leads to addressing questions
- Proactive and self-directed and results oriented
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Specifically Word and Excel. Experience in JDE and Bswift a plus
